The Design
For this project, I wanted to tap into a nostalgic look and feel, so I tapped into my love for retro wave design to craft the primary type and background design. I hand-illustrated the BMW E46 M3 from a reference image. I really wanted to evoke an emotional moment in the illustration so I went with illustrating the passing of the keys from father to son showing the "passing of the torch" as it were.
